IMPORTANT LIST OF SUSTAINABLE TOOLS TO BUY SOON

Whether there is a short term threat like a tsunami, earthquake , or hurricane or whether their is a long term threat like a recession, shipping halt, or plague ....there are some things you might consider picking up before they are no longer available. If you co-ordinate with your neighbors maybe you can team up on some items.
Here's a partial list:

1. A bicycle and a pack big enough for groceries. $150 At Cosco
2. A motor scooter (97 MPG) Ruckas made by Honda is $2350 in Kona
3. A food dehydrator ... 9 trays order from Cabella's on line $100
4. A solar oven ...make one from scrap glass and wood or ck. REI
5. A second shovel you really like the feel of.
6. A wheel barrow with a non-inflatable tough tire HPM. $75
7. A set of 5 gallon paint buckets with tops $7 each
8. A tough little tarp that will fit in you pick-up bed for water catchment

10, A roll of weedblock $30 (goes under garden mounds blocks roots)
11. An oil press, a sugar press, and a mac nut oil press if you know where to find these let us know.

Then there's the stored food list. Go on line ...there are plenty of suggestions
I say 60 days minimum for stored food in sealed plastic buckets or garbage cans. You have to keep the critters out!

Thats how long (60 days) it takes to serious food from a new garden.
The longer you wait to become proficient at gardening the more disappointment you will suffer. There's more to know than you might imagine ...practice now!

Hey, I am sure there are other things! ...this is a starter kit ...don't wait!
